rock steady, great presets and great in-apps ( but no auv3) Yes it has the odd crackle.especially when using with other IOS midi apps.

If UVI are listening then first - thanks for the recent update - the sounds are a whole lot better and arguably the best piano sound available on iOS, BUT the above problem (along with adding Prevent Screen Lock and restoring the midi volume control) are necessary to bring this piano into the professional league. It makes no difference whether you use the iPad/iPhone headphone jack or an audio interface that by-passes the iOS DAC. This happens around every 40 seconds or so - depending on the settings chosen. Our goal was to emulate all aspects of the 275s detailed voice using the latest sampling technology and let this amazing piano speak with clarity. This one-of-a-kind concert grand has been recreated using nearly 17,000 samples and 4 discrete microphones, controlled from an easy to use interface. So it seems as you play you run out of -loaded samples and when it refreshes a crackle sound is heard. Ravenscroft 275 is one of these rare instruments. It is the same sound you can hear when you go into options and choose a different sample rate/audio buffer and samples are forced to reload. to make a clearly superior piano app, or that an iOS version of Pianoteq has not come out. It cuts through well in a Rock/R&B setting but I still have crackling. I have the Ravenscroft 275 on my Mac and on my iPad/iPhone. I was wondering if anybody else who has this piano is having the same problems. The pianos sound originates from any VST software program - such as the Ravenscroft 275 piano app - making your options to use and 'fine tune' the 'perfect piano sound' virtually limitless. This piano has a very nice sound but still has a few glitches that need fixing.
